Thats right folks. We wont be able to play the Brighton Bar on Wednesday August 27th - many apologies to all the folks who have driving plans (and flights!) to come out and rock it with us...

Unfortunately, our bassist Dan has sustained some fairly brutal wounding from man's best friend. His lovable pet doggies weren't playing nice, and in attempt to break them up, Dan's hands sustained broken fingers and flesh wounds. Luckily, he didn't lose any fingers, but he has undergone some reconstructive surgery and is in therapy to get his fingers back into top form.

Needless to say, this is why we have to cancel our show at the Brighton Bar. There will still be performances by the HILLBILLY HELLCATS (Denver, CO) and other bands that nite, but we wont be able to play. Sorry!!

The good news is, we'll be rescheduling a show at Brighton Bar for later in the fall, and a Pennsylvania show for this fall is in the works too. We are hoping Dan will be able to pull off a miracle and perform at the upcoming Long Island and Boise shows - nevertheless, BXF will be performing either way - potentially with a substitute bass player if Dan needs more time....thanks for your support and understanding...see you soon!
